This award celebrates corporate social responsibility by recognizing local businesses for their support of the Montgomery County community through corporate engagement and employee volunteerism (presented in 2021).

Business Hall of Fame

Craig was inducted into the JAGW Business Hall of Fame for his professional and philanthropic contributions to the quality of life in Greater Washington through the private sector economy (presented in 2021).

Community Partnership Award

Presented by the National Association of Landscape Professionals, this award recognizes companies who demonstrate leadership in helping restore or revive communities (presented in 2019).

Community Stewardship Award

Recognized Ruppert Landscape's community service project transforming the grounds of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Stone Mountain, GA (presented in 2019).

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Excellence in Construction Award

Projects honored recently include Sagamore Pendry Hotel (2018), The National Museum of African American History and Culture (2018), and Pike & Rose (2016).

ABC Metro Washington & Virginia Chapter’s Landscape Subcontractor of the Year

Ruppert was named the Landscape Subcontractor of the Year (2002, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2023)

Leadership Award

Former president Chris Davitt was recognized alongside business owners, educators and others allied to the green industry who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to their field (presented in 2015).

Workforce and Economic Development Award for Agricultural Environmental Innovation

Presented to an employer that has demonstrated awareness of the impact its business has on the environment and has taken steps to preserve agricultural land, promote environmental awareness, or improve or protect the environment in one of the following areas: air quality; water quality; recycling; reforestation; hybrid vehicles; or open space (presented in 2007).

Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Companies List

Ruppert was recognized on the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing private companies of the three-year growth rate of 659.95% (in 2005).

Clarence Donohoe Award
