Ruppert Landscape employees were recently honored as the company recognized exceptional talent and celebrated the contributions of a dynamic team that continues to raise the bar on innovation and excellence.
Clyde Vadner Merit Award
This award recognizes the individual who has contributed continuous, consistent, long-term hard work, dedication, and job skills that have helped to shape the company. This award is named in memory of Clyde Vadner, who played an integral role early in the company’s history in developing the training program that has helped develop the many leaders who make up the organization today.
This year’s recipient is Lou LaBonte, a six-year employee who serves as region manager overseeing the company’s DC and Virginia landscape installation operations.
“Lou is a natural relationship builder who earns the trust of both his team and his customers through genuine connection and consistent delivery,” said Mike Felts, Division VP. “His commitment to developing others and pushing for excellence is reflected in his team’s growth, loyalty, and one of the lowest turnover rates in the company.”
Achievement Award
This award recognizes the employee who has made a significant contribution in 2025 through outstanding job execution and high-quality results.
This year’s recipient is David Hensel, a nine-year employee who serves as branch manager in the Richmond East, Virginia landscape maintenance branch.
“David’s unwavering commitment to his team’s growth and success has driven exceptional performance, including expansion strong enough to launch the Yorktown branch,” said Fred Key, North Division President. “His work ethic and focus on long-term success make him a standout leader and deserving of this recognition.”
