An Update on State/County Mandates Regarding COVID-19

Dear Ruppert Employees,

We wanted to keep you apprised of additional legislation ordering the closure of non-essential businesses in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Since our last communication, Galveston, Dallas and Harris Counties in Texas and Mecklenburg County, North Carolina have also ordered non-essential businesses to cease operations. As with the recent Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania state mandates, we have reviewed these counties’ interpretive guidance for essential businesses in critical infrastructure sectors, which includes all commercial and residential construction companies and building and property maintenance companies, (including landscapers). As an essential service, we will continue to operate using all precautionary measures as outlined by the CDC, WHO and other governing bodies.

We expect more counties and states to follow suit in the coming days and weeks and will continue to review these individual guidelines to determine how it will affect our business. We expect to continue operations under similar circumstances. We urge you to continue practicing social distancing and personal hygiene measures and thank you for your commitment to keeping our customers and fellow team members safe.

Should you have any questions regarding county or state legislature surrounding COVID-19, please contact your supervisor. Thanks for all you’re doing and keep up the great work!

Sincerely,

Craig and Phil
