Laytonsville, MD – Ruppert Landscape is pleased to announce several recently awarded landscape construction contracts in our Washington, D.C., North Carolina, and Texas markets.

Washington, D.C. Landscape Construction Projects:

Project Name: International Spy Museum
Location: Washington, D.C.
Project Description: The eight-story 140,000 SF museum will be built on top of the existing L’Enfant Plaza mixed use development and will feature three floors of exhibit space, an interactive theater, and educational, office and event spaces.
Client: Clark Construction

Project Name: The Yards Parcel O
Location: Washington, D.C.
Project Description: This 10-story, 267-unit mixed-use community, located in the Capitol Riverfront district, includes residential, office, retail and restaurant space and the award-winning waterfront Yards Park, all within walking distance of Capitol Hill and the Washington Nationals ballpark. The project consists of three towers over a shared garage.

Project Name: One City Center
Location: Durham, NC
Project Description: One City Center will be a 27-story mixed-use building consisting of luxury condos and apartments, office, and retail in downtown Durham. Residents will enjoy a gorgeous amenity space on the 6th floor as well as a rooftop pool on the top floor.

Project Name: Duke University, School of Medicine, Medical Science Research Building (MSRB) III
Location: Durham, NC
Project Description: This 155,000SF building will exclusively house bench lab research. With six floors above ground and one below, MSRBIII will be a significant step toward easing the crunch in research space.

Texas Landscape Construction Projects:

Project Name: The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston Expansion
Location: Houston, TX
Project Description: In the heart of Houston’s Museum District lies a 14-acre Fine Arts campus. To improve the pedestrian experience, the MFAH will be expanding its campus with three new structures. The structures and grounds will be a cultural destination and attraction for the City of Houston. The landscape will feature reflecting pools, vertical gardens, and roof gardens, creating an urban oasis and family-friendly environment.

Project Name: University of Lamar Setzer Center (Renovation and Addition)
Location: Beaumont, TX
Project Description: Upgrades to the Setzer Student Center began in December and at completion will consist of an expanded kitchen, collaboration spaces, study nooks, and a new entrance that will face the student quad. The quad will be renovated with new walkways and a revitalized landscape for the outdoor enjoyment and gathering spot for students.

Project Name: The Pierpont
Location: Spring, TX
Project Description: This 354-unit, 4-story luxury apartment building is conveniently located between Houston and The Woodlands with easy access to the upcoming mixed-use development of Springwoods Village. The apartment community features two courtyards with a contemporary swimming pool, pet park, grilling stations, and an outdoor fireplace with group seating.

Project Name: Crown Centre at Castle Hills Open Space
Location: Lewisville, Texas
Project Description: This open-space project is the focal point for a future corporate campus development. The project will include seating areas around three large lake features. Future tenants will also be able to utilize winding paths that meander around the lakes. This environment will be an ideal way to get out of the office to relax and take a quick break.
