Laytonsville, MD – Ruppert Landscape is pleased to announce the addition of Jobe Axley and Deborah Stipa in our D.C. Landscape Management Branch.
Axley, a resident of Huntington, MD, has been hired as Area Manager. She has over 15 years of industry experience and is a North Carolina Certified Plant Professional. Axley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and Museum Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Horticultural Studies from Forsyth Technical Community College. As Area Manager, she will be responsible for the sale, renewal and production of the branch’s landscape management work; the training and development of personnel; and ensuring quality, customer service and customer retention.
“Jobe is very personable and detail-oriented,” said Chuck Whealton, Region Manager in our Landscape Management Division. “Having spent time as a horticulturist working on the grounds of the U.S. Vice President’s residence has provided her with a solid foundation that will help her exceed the expectations of our D.C. clientele.”
Stipa, a resident of Cockeysville, MD, has been hired as Business Developer. She has over 12 years of business development experience in the renewable energy and contracting/restoration industries and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Towson University. As Business Developer in the D.C. branch, she will be responsible for understanding and identifying opportunities in the market; local networking and relationship building with targeted potential customers; involvement in trade organizations and maintaining long-term client relationships.
“While new to the landscaping industry, Deb brings a fresh perspective and has already shared valuable insight,” said Whealton. “She has an amazing grasp on the power of networking, so I’m confident that she is going to play a huge role in helping us grow our reach in the D.C. market.”
