Attire
Casual business attire for the day, khakis and a dress shirt (no jeans or sneakers). We’d like everyone to look sharp! There will be a coat rack available to store coats.

Arrival
Come prepared (bring a pen) for two days of learning and camaraderie.

DAY 1
Check in begins at 7:15 a.m. with a continental breakfast. Our program begins at 8:00 a.m. sharp. Please be on time. The day will end at 4:30 p.m.
DAY 2
Check in begins at 7:15 a.m. with a continental breakfast with a presentation that will start at 7:30 a.m. Breakout sessions will begin at 9:00 a.m. The day will end at 3:30 p.m.

Meals
Breakfast and lunch will be provided both days.

Hotel Rooms
If you are planning to stay at the hotel and are not already being booked on the master bill, there is a standard room rate of $71 plus tax. (Suites are $139 plus tax). Reservations must be held with your credit card and made by Friday, February 16th to ensure availability. To make reservations, please call (703) 724-6170 and reference Ruppert Landscape. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You can also reserve a room by e-mailing the Reservations Department at reservations@conferencecenter.com.

Annual Awards Banquet

Attire
This event is traditionally our dressiest of the year. Men should wear coat and tie (suit and tie if possible) and evening wear is appropriate for women (i.e. something appropriate for a wedding or cocktail party).

Banquet Agenda/Menu
The banquet runs from 7 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Cocktail hour
8:00 – 8:45 p.m. Dinner
8:45 – 10:00 p.m. Awards ceremony
10:00 – 11:00 p.m. Dancing and mingling

Hors d’oeuvres: sesame chicken, mini vegetable egg rolls, vegetable & cheese display
Salad: salad field greens, sundried cranberries, tomatoes, goat cheese with a balsamic vinaigrette
Dinner: slow cooked beef short rib, herb roasted potatoes, vegetables, horseradish red wine sauce

Alcohol
As always, we want to remind everyone that this is a work event and while we want you to have fun and enjoy this celebration, we also expect you to do so in moderation. Overindulgence at this event is not a recipe for success at Ruppert. We will be serving beer/wine only and alcohol won’t be served during the awards ceremony between 9-10 p.m. Remember: this will only be a successful event if it is a safe event.

From Washington DC / Richmond
• Take Rt. 50 W to I-66 W.(DC DIRECTIONS) or Take I-95 south to 495 (the Capital Beltway)
(RICHMOND DIRECTIONS)
• Take the Dulles Toll Road (Rt. 267)
• Exit at Rt. 28 N (Exit 9B) Proceed 5 miles. Rt. 28 becomes Rt. 7W
• Proceed for 4 miles on to a right on Rt. 659 / Belmont Ridge Road
• Continue through 2 traffic lights on to Upper Belmont Place (Belmont Ridge Rd. becomes Upper Belmont Place after crossing over Riverside Pkwy).
• Continue to follow signs through two traffic circles to stay on Upper Belmont Place (you will pass Belmont Ridge Middle School and Riverside High school on your left)

Southbound (from Baltimore)
• Take I-95 to I-495 (The Capital Beltway) toward Northern Virginia
• Take the Dulles Toll Road (Rt. 267)
• Exit at Rt. 28 N (Exit 9B) Proceed 5 miles. Rt. 28 becomes Rt. 7W
• Proceed for 4 miles on to a right on Rt. 659 / Belmont Ridge Road

From Frederick, MD
• Take I-70 to Rt. 15 south/Catoctin Mountain Hwy towards Leesburg
• Turn left on Rt. 773 / Fort Evans Rd. NE
• Turn left onto Upper Belmont Place
• Continue to follow signs through two traffic circles to stay on Upper Belmont Place (you will pass Belmont Ridge Middle School and Riverside High school on your left)

Parking
• Park in parking garage on right as you reach the hotel. If that reaches capacity, secondary parking is in Lot C which is adjacent to the garage.
