Administrative Support: there are a variety of support jobs ranging from administrative assistant, to accounting to public relations. Branch Manager: oversees all day-to-day operations at a branch office. Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, personnel development, systems control, and customer relations. Business Development Manager: primarily responsible for initiating and developing customer relationships, identifying and tracking potential projects, securing bid opportunities, presenting proposals and negotiating sales. Their responsibilities include prospecting, calling on current and potential customers, assessing customer needs, assisting with budgeting, communicating project details to the Estimator and customizing presentations.

Contract Administrator: The Contractor Administrator oversees all accounting and business functions for the branch and produces and analyzes financial and performance reports. For jobs managed by the Production Manager their responsibilities include finalizing job packages, setting up jobs in SLICE and LSI, tracking changes, billing customers, and collecting receivables. The Contract Administrator oversees these same functions on jobs managed by a Project Manager. Their responsibilities also include preparing weekly and monthly reports, coordinating the monthly closeout, and updating the WIPS.

Crewperson: primarily responsible for all production activities as directed by the field and assistant field manager. They are responsible for communicating and working together as a team with fellow employees and representing Ruppert Landscape in a professional manner.

Driver: A commercial drive responsible for transporting materials to and from jobsite. Must have a class C Commercial Drivers License.

Enhancement Field Manager: responsible for managing labor and materials in the field to complete assigned enhancement projects. In addition, field managers must develop the people who report to them. Success in this position is indicated by jobs completed on time and on budget and low negative turnover of assistants and crewmen. This position must cooperate with landscape management field managers and other enhancement field managers to see that the overall goals of the branch are met.

Estimator: responsible for accurately estimating direct costs for landscape installation or maintenance bids and change orders based on plans, specifications and site inspections. This includes verifying all material costs, qualifying subcontractor quotations, calculating labor hours, capturing miscellaneous expenses and assigning preliminary margins. The Estimator fully supports the Business Developer and Production Manager and may assist Project Managers.

Field Manager: responsible for overseeing all aspects of an assigned project. This includes managing an Assistant Field Manager and Crew, operating and maintaining assigned equipment, receiving plants and materials, communicating with the customer, tracking of all production hours and completing the work on schedule.

Operations Manager: The Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of production in the branch. These responsibilities include the direct supervision of the Production Manager, Project Manager(s) and Purchaser. The Operations Manager is ultimately responsible for all field operations, personnel, vehicles and equipment, safety, subcontracts, direct cost accounts and selected overhead expenses.

Purchaser: The Plant Purchaser is responsible for sourcing, acquiring and coordinating deliver of the plants and of selected hard materials necessary to complete all projects at the best value possible. These responsibilities include negotiating purchases, issuing purchase orders, coordinating deliveries, processing invoices, and tracking related job costs.

Production Manager: responsible for all aspects of the installation of traditional landscape projects. These responsibilities include supervising field personnel, managing subcontractors, overseeing projects to substantial completion and through the warranty period, communicating with customers and project architects, and maintaining quality standards. The Production Manager coordinates with the Operations and Project Managers to schedule manpower and equipment resources.

Project Manager: The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the administration and installation of large or specialty landscape projects for a branch. These responsibilities include supervising field personnel, managing subcontractors, overseeing projects to substantial completion and through the warranty period, communicating with customers and project architects, and maintaining quality standards. Their duties also include setting up projects, reporting weekly and monthly, billing, and collecting receivables. The Project Manager coordinates with the Operations and Production Managers to schedule manpower and equipment resources.
