Trent Transfers to Ruppert’s Corporate Division

Laytonsville, MD — Ruppert Nurseries is pleased to announce that Ty Trent has accepted the position of Training and Development Manager within Ruppert’s Organizational and People Development department at their corporate office in Laytonsville, Md. Trent had been Ruppert’s Virginia Landscape Management branch manager for three years.
Trent, a resident of Virginia and a Certified Landscape Technician, has been in the landscape industry for over 20 years His new responsibilities include developing and implementing effective management and horticultural skills training for Ruppert staff. Trent holds a bachelors degree in landscape contracting from Penn State University in University park, Pa.
"We are excited to have Ty apply his leadership, landscaping expertise and Ruppert experience towards our training initiatives. I am confident Ty’s efforts will help our branches improve their quality and consistency in the field, develop our managers and assist the us overall in keeping up with our operation’s rapid growth," said Jay Long, director of Organizational and People Development and a partner in Ruppert Nurseries.
Ruppert Nurseries, Inc. provides commercial landscape installation and landscape management services in the mid-Atlantic and Atlanta regions and is also a 475-acre wholesale tree nursery in Montgomery County, Md.
