Ruppert Opens Atlanta Landscape Installation Branch

April 2004

Laytonsville, MD — In addition to its branch offices in Laytonsville, Md., Chantilly, Va., and Philadelphia, Ruppert has re-entered the Atlanta market by opening a landscape installation branch in Sugar Hill, Ga., which is just outside of Atlanta. Ruppert served the Atlanta area from 1992 until its sale in 1998 and worked on landscape projects such as Phillips Arena, AllTel's SE Corporate Campus and Perimeter Summit.

Patrick Luzier, a Suwanee, Ga., resident, who was Ruppert's Atlanta branch manager from 1995 to 1998, returns to lead the new branch. Joining Luzier are Ruppert veterans Mike Ward (Estimating and Sales), of Gainesville, Ga., and Stacy Smith (Purchasing/Production Management), of Lawrenceville, Ga. Ward and Smith worked for Ruppert for eight years and five years, respectively.

"With the return of our talented and experienced staff, re-entering the Atlanta market was an easy decision to make," said President Chris Davitt. "We enjoyed serving the area in the past and we look forward to doing an even better job in the future."

Ruppert Nurseries, Inc. provides commercial landscape installation and landscape management services in the mid-Atlantic and Atlanta regions and is also a 475-acre wholesale tree nursery in Montgomery County, Md.
