Ruppert Honored For Work at Jubilee Housing
May, 2010
Laytonsville, MD – Ruppert Landscape is pleased to announce that they have been honored by the Jubilee Support Alliance with the 2010 Corporate Community Service Award. The award was created to honor businesses that seek to build and improve relationships and conditions in their own communities.
The award was presented to Ruppert Landscape in recognition of its substantial contributions and support. "Ruppert's continued commitment to the annual Work Day demonstrates its dedication to improving the lives of Jubilee residents by offering safe play areas for the children and attractive outdoor spaces for the adults, especially our senior residents," said Maria Payne, Executive Director of Jubilee Support Alliance. "Additionally, the financial support for programs such as Back to School and Elf Store are shining examples of how corporations and non-profits can work together for the advancement of the larger community."
"The culture of Jubilee Housing and Jubilee Support Alliance is one of enthusiasm, empowerment and anti-entitlement," said Ken Thompson, Ruppert Landscape Branch Manager and Jubilee Support Alliance Board Member. "The reason that Ruppert's involvement with Jubilee is a good match is because our cultures are very similar."
