Mike Ward Promoted to Director of Pre-Construction Services & Estimating

Laytonsville, MD – – Ruppert Landscape is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Ward to the newly created corporate position of Director of Pre-construction Services & Estimating.
Ward is heading a newly created department that will increase the company's ability to serve its customers by providing reliable estimating and pre-construction services for projects that are in-process or are in the planning stages. In addition to serving the needs of the company's customers, Ward will be training new and existing estimators, helping to establish company-wide standards and reviewing the estimates on large specialty projects.
Ward, a Gainesville, GA, resident, began his career with the company in 1990 as a crewman. In his 20-year career, he has worked in a variety of capacities including Assistant Foreman, Foreman, Estimator, Business Development Manager, Contract Administrator, Purchaser and Production Manager.
"The bottom line is that this new department will allow us to better serve our customers, which is our top priority," said Bob Jones, Vice President and Director the Landscape Construction Division. Ruppert Landscape provides commercial landscape construction and management in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina from 11 branch offices. In addition, the company operates a 475-acre wholesale tree nursery specializing in large tree growing and moving in Montgomery County, MD.
