George Brown Promoted to Area Manager

Laytonsville, MD – Ruppert Landscape is pleased to announce the promotion of George Brown to Area Manager in our Forestville Landscape Management Branch.
Brown, a resident of Warrenton, VA, brings over 10 years of industry experience to his new position and is a graduate of SUNY Cobleskill. He began his career with Ruppert in June of 2008 as a Field Manager. In his new role, he will be responsible for the sale, renewal and production of the branch's landscape management work as well as estimating and design with a focus on customer satisfaction and the training and development of Ruppert personnel.
"Recognizing outstanding performance and promoting from within are our company's most basic tenets," said Jack Jones, Branch Manager for the Forestville Landscape Management Branch. "George has been an instrumental part of our branch, taking the lead on many key jobs including the Franciscan Monestary, which won a Grand Award from the Landscape Contractor's Association (LCA) and the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) in 2008. His promotion to Area Manager will be a huge asset to our branch as well as to the division as a whole."
Ruppert Landscape provides commercial landscape construction and management in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina from 11 branch offices. In addition, the company operates a 475-acre wholesale tree nursery specializing in large tree growing and moving in Montgomery County, MD.
